Adopted Miss Yellow (now Brandy) in 2017. She is without a doubt the best Golden I have ever owned. She is so smart and knows numerous commands. My neighbors in both Georgia and NC know me as Brandy’s mom. Brandy has never met a stranger! And loves the attention of both humans and other dogs (and her kitty sister). She is a bit apprehensive about new situations but will quickly adapt if I call her to check it out. She has my heart!

I have been working with this breeder on many occasions and I’m impressed about how much work she puts into raising and training her dogs. She really cares for the health and well being of her dogs so if she chooses you to give one of her puppies to your family, you’re the lucky one! Phillippa trains and competes with her dogs, so you can be sure to get a mentally sound, intelligent dog that is eager to learn.

We got our golden girl, Wrigley, from Whisper Creek’s Retrievers in June of 2017. When looking for our new family member, finding an extremely healthy puppy was really the only thing we cared about. With Cash and Eros (Wrigley’s dad), we felt totally comfortable that our puppy would be as healthy as possible. Philippa is so knowledgeable and truly cares about her animals. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and took our family’s needs into consideration when helping us choose a puppy from the litter. She gets to know the puppies and their personalities so she can help match her puppies with their families. For example, she knew that we already had two cats and planned to have children, so she helped choose a puppy that was not fearful and did well with children. We had our baby boy this past winter and Wrigley could not be more gentle and sweet with him! Wrigley is so smart, obedient, and playful. She walks perfectly on a leash, loves children, and is happy to be a couch potato or go for long walks or swims. She does great out and about in public and is generally not scared of loud noises. She gets compliments everywhere we go on both her looks and good behavior. We flew from Maryland to Atlanta to get Wrigley at 8 weeks old and put her under the seat in front of us in a carrier to get her home. It was very easy! Wrigley has been such a blessing to our family- we really could not ask for a better dog. I would not hesitate to get another puppy from Whisper Creek’s Retrievers or recommend them to anyone looking for a golden to join their family!
