I received a sweet little puppy from Cotton and Sadie’s litter in Summer of 2020! Tara was a tremendous help through out the whole process, answered all of my questions and sent me plenty of videos and pictures of my sweet girl Daisy! When I arrived to pick her up, she had a going home bag with all her papers, toys, and a blankie so she would have the best possible transition to my home! I keep up with Tara and her family through Facebook, and keep up with their upcoming litters too! I felt that all the puppies were born into a loving home in preparation for mine and I couldn’t be more thankful to have chosen Shady Pines! Without them, I wouldn’t have found my best friend! Highly recommend!!

We got Skulls (renamed Barbie) in the beginning of 2022. The process went so smoothly. They answered any and all questions I had and we got to see the progression of her growth week by week. It was wonderful. If we ever decide to get another, we will choose Sandy Pines! Thank you Tara!

I happily gave a $200 deposit on a puppy that has not yet been conceived. My children and I were very excited knowing that we would sometime in the next year have a new addition to our family. A couple days after sending my deposit, my father took a very hard fall and broke several bones in his hip and pelvic area and is in the hospital. He will be coming to live with me and being a single mother I cannot take on a puppy and take care of an 80-year-old man at the same time. I very nicely asked the owners of this company if they would be willing to return my deposit. They did not reply for 10 days, they never sent me an email receipt so I assumed they are a scam. I reached out once again to end up in a text battle. The excuse was her son had her phone and has been playing with it (and apparently her computer) and she just didn’t see my messages until tonight. Excuse after excuse. I do not recommend dealing with people that communicate great until they receive monies then fall off the planet. There are plenty of ethical and moral breeders that you can deal with I’m sure. It’s poor business, although I know deposits are non refundable, I thought she may make an exception due to my circumstances with my elderly dad. She doesn’t care. She clearly needs the money.
