As a long-time golden owner and daughter of a veterinarian, I simply cannot say enough about James Fillers. Having lost our almost 15 year old golden, I found myself (after seeing someone else with a Nolichucky golden) asking James about his dogs/breeding program. He let me come visit and ask him thousands of questions. By the time I was leaving, I was begging him to take my deposit for whenever his next litter was confirmed. From the beginning, he has always answered my many questions – and has continued to educate me. We stay in regular contact. Because of him, I know, without a doubt, that our precious Phinny (now 10 months) has the best genetics of any golden I’ve ever parented. We constantly get complimented on her! We’ve been so pleased, that we are beyond excited to soon (one more week!) be picking up our second Nolichucky Golden! I cannot say enough good things about James and his breeding program. I would never go anywhere else. Another reviewer said it, and I will echo — Look no further. Save your time. If you want a beautiful, healthy golden with a wonderful temperament, this is the ONLY place to go. I’d drive across the country if I had to to get a Nolichucky golden!

My wife and I are so happy we were introduced to James at Nolichucky Goldens! We got our first dog together from the Eros/Peyton litter and named him Palmer. He is an exceptionally well behaved dog and extremely handsome. I can’t begin to explain how many compliments we get over his looks and temperament. Many people tell us he should be a service dog too! James was super helpful and knowledgeable when preparing us for our puppy and went out of his way to find the best fit for us for our puppy. We have already referred James and Nolichucky to so many people who have stopped and asked us about Palmer. This definitely won’t be our last dog from Nolichucky!!

We now have two Goldens from James and are so pleased. James is not one of those puppy pushers…he has sincere interest in his breeding program and takes great pains to insure that each puppy goes to a good home. His puppies are exceptional as companions or for showing. They are very, very healthy and sweet-tempered. Beware: they are also very beautiful and will garner a lot of attention wherever you go!
