I can’t say enough good things about Mountain View! I received a recommendation for Mt. View through a friend who had just purchased their second mt. view golden. Now, Walter is almost two years old and is a big healthy golden. All vet visits have revealed that Walt is healthy and has no signs of issues. Through the entire process Lori was always available for questions and provided the best advice for caring for goldens; she knows what’s she’s talking about. All mt. view dogs are super healthy, and are screened for hip issues before breeding. Her 2 year health guarantee (hips, heart, eyes, and elbows) was the selling point.

I cannot say more amazing things about Mountain View Kennels and their dogs. I purchased my puppy in May of 2022 and he is the best dog I could have asked for. Healthy, active, beautiful coat and all-around good dog. If I could give Mountain View more than 5 stars, I would. If you’re looking for a reputable Golden breeder, look no further.

I have bought 2 Goldens from Mountain view. First one lived to be almost 15. At first, he had one testicle that didn’t descend and she returned half the cost which was what was on the contract. She honored it. Other than that he was a great intelligent friendly dog and thrived most of his life until the end. Since she honored the first contract I bought a second pup from her recently. He is doing fine and is just another great Golden Retriever. He is only 8 months old but is very calm and loving and gets along great with a Redbone Coonhound that I have. Could he have problems down the road….of course but so could any dog. Right now he is healthy and happy.

Purchased a Golden from her and seven months later had to spend $3600 on a surgery for him for a luxating patella. He has that on both sides AND he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips as a puppy. These puppies should all be checked extensively before they are sold. I would NEVER buy another puppy from her. She gave me half of my money back, but I should have received ALL of it back. He’s only 5 and can barely walk, has to get injections and is on Deramaxx.
