Purchased a “16 week old puppy” about a month ago. Our pup was the only one left on the cite, and was at a discounted price. My girlfriend and I were ELATED, and figured this was a sign that he needed to be ours! We were told by the woman that the reason he was discounted was because he was a bit older than what most people want when getting a puppy. We had no problem with this age and decided he was ours! When we picked our puppy up, we were told that he was perfectly healthy and had gotten most of his vaccines, but that his stool was a bit soft from a dewormer he had. However, shortly after bringing him home we realized that his stool, behavior, and eating habits were far from normal and healthy. After various vet appointments and a couple thousand dollars, we found out he had a pretty gnarly case of Giardia as well as an upper respiratory infection also known as kennel cough. Long story short he was practically on his deathbed and she just happened to not mention any of this to us. I reached out to the woman after finding out how sick he was with extremely contagious canine diseases to which she did not respond. I reckon that it’s highly likely her other pups are infested with these awful diseases as well. Luckily, after spending a few thousand dollars and lots and lots of hours cleaning up explosive diarrhea our pup is feeling better. I highly recommend going with any other breeder or literally creating an imaginary dog before buying from this woman. I have never written a bad review before in my entire life but this was warranted. Not only is she scamming people into thinking they’re buying healthy dogs, but clearly the dogs she has are kept in an unsafe and unhealthy condition. Oh, I should probably mention that she also lied about his age. Or maybe she’s just super bad at math or just stupid who knows. But come to find out he was barely three months when we got him unless his paperwork is all fake who knows at this point.
