Goldens Of Rocky Springs (Madisonville, Tennessee)

I knew exactly what I wanted when I started my search for a golden retriever puppy. Unfortunately, many of the breeders that I initially met with weren’t very interested in discussing what I was looking for. Most of them were unpleasant to speak with and very transactional. I eventually settled on a breeder (not this breeder) and gave a down payment. It was very difficult to get updates from that breeder, and I eventually found out just before the pickup date that the pregnant dog wasn’t actually pregnant(???). The deal fell through, and I was really heartbroken about it. My wife felt my pain, did a lot of additional research, and turned up Goldens of Rocky Springs. We grabbed the kiddo and made a road trip that same weekend.
Upon arrival, we knew right away that this was a superior breeder. Patty and her family are wonderful people that really care about their dogs. We felt very welcome at their home, and they took the time to listen and understand the traits that we were looking for. We narrowed our choice down to two puppies, and Patty had the remarkable ability to be able to tell us which of those two puppies would grow into the size and face shape that I was looking for. We left for home feeling elated! While we waited for our puppy to grow, Patty gave us constant updates (pictures, videos, texts), and really made us feel confident in our choice. I ended up referring an employee of mine, and he happened to choose the puppy from that litter that we didn’t choose. The two dogs saw each other frequently (my office/company is dog friendly) and sure enough, our puppy grew up into exactly what Patty said he’d grow into (the other dog is undeniably pretty, but not like ours!). Our golden is BEAUTIFUL, and he’s a wonderful family member! Everybody LOVES this dog, and my son refers to him as his brother. We get constant compliments when we walk our golden, and I’m always thrilled to tell folks where he came from.
Our dog recently turned 3 years old, and Patty continues to stay in touch with us. She clearly cares about her dogs long after they’ve left her home. We have nothing but love for Goldens of Rocky Springs. They breed the gold standard of dogs, and they are the gold standard of breeders.

Patty gave me such a great experience with purchasing my puppy! I could tell in every conversation we had how much she loved her own dogs. It was important to Patty and myself that I met my puppy before talking him home. She was so responsive and helpful with every question I had and even sent my Golden home with a thoughtful goodie back. I would recommend anyone looking to bring home a puppy to Goldens of Rocky Springs!

We couldn’t be happier with our sweet pup we got from Rocky Springs. Patty was nothing but responsive throughout the entire process. Our sweet boy is now three years old and he’s just perfect. You can really tell that Patty and her husband love their pups so very much. If you feel like you can’t take care of puppy you get from them then they will happily take he or she back with no questions asked. They treat their dogs like family and you can just tell how much they care. I would 100% buy another pup from them. I’m happy to report that little guy has been healthy with no issues. They are honest and reasonably priced. I can’t speak highly enough about Goldens of Rocky Springs!
