I was fortunate enough to hunt over one of Lucinda’s dogs (Sage) at Habitat Flats in 2019. Sage had a a great mix of drive and demeanor. I called Lucinda soon after and got on her list. We recently got a female off Lottie and couldn’t be happier with her. She is a very sweet dog and has a high desire to please. I think a lot of the dogs attitude and demeanor come from how Lucinda raises them. Nothing surprises this dog. She isn’t phased by new things or loud noises. I look forward to many years of watching her chase ducks. Thank you Lucinda!

Our family met with Lucinda at Ducktown Retreivers over a year ago. My son, a hunter, was impressed with the performance and “fire” demonstrated by the DTR dogs. He decided to adopt one of Lotties pups and he couldn’t be happier. We have all been impressed with Lucinda’s continual coaching and informative emails and posts on social media. It was so helpful to see little Bella from the time she was born until our son took her home. Since we have had several labs, we know that Bella is a quality breed and will be both a good companion dog as well as a great hunting dog. Working with Lucinda has been a great experience. She kept in contact all throughout the process, and helped us pick the right dog for our crew. This is the 3rd dog I have known from Ducktown.
