Annie is a Country Chesapeake dog. I picked her up in June, 2018 right after she turned 8 weeks old. From day 1, Annie was an alert, calm, confident and intelligent dog. She started basic obedience training within the first week of having her and she responded remarkably well. Clearly, Annie was from a great line of Chessies. She is the easiest puppy I’ve ever raised, without question. Greg and his family were easy to deal with, answered all questions during the process, and followed through with all relevant paperwork (e.g. AKC registration, vet records, etc). I’m itching for another dog and Country Chesapeakes will be at the top of my list when I’m ready for another pup.

I have had enough chessies to know a good breeder and gentle pups. These are the most kind I’ve known — I judge the breeder by the dog’s disposition and Mr Greg has shown time love and concern for his chessies. I will be getting another from him… i have loved all my Chesapeake Bay Retrievers however Emma Rose has shown exceptional interaction with no aggression…

We got our Chessie, Baby Rufus, this past October. Greg & Heather were so easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and are still available if we need them. Our pup is smart & handsome. Would certainly recommend them for your next Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy. Parents are on site so you can see them.

My husband and I put down deposits for two Chessie puppies last October 2019. We never got our puppies and we never got our deposits back!!! Country Chesapeake’s never contacted us during the months from October until now February. We always made the contact. We were told we would be receiving our deposits back($400.00) in late December and again in January and we still have not received. I would not recommend doing business with them.
