Picked up my medium golden mountain doodle on Wednesday! Entire process was excellent, the staff was very responsive and gave updates each week on the puppy! Worth every penny. I will be getting my next doodle through them as well!! Highly recommend!

Through friends of friends I found Wendmere Kennels in St Charles, Michigan. Nothing but excellent experiences from learning of a possible expecting Golden Retriever, to sending in a check for a deposit! And a wonderful trip to choose our female pup that we picked up Christmas Eve! Jenny is perfect! She’s absolutely beautiful! Has a loving disposition and is all we had hoped for. The trainers, the groomers, all the staff at Wendmere,
were wonderful and went the extra mile in providing a truly wonderful experience in adopting Jenny and welcoming her into our home.
I recommend the Wendmere Kennels without any reservations and know that anyone who has had any experience with this remarkable organization will agree.

Windmere was just amazing with our experience of choosing a new Bernedoodle puppy, from the moment I first reached out to them and even after we took our puppy home, they were always available for questions and answered our questions very quickly. They were so professional and the facility was very clean. We had a wonderful experience and just love our new baby.

I went to windmere for quite a few months. I thought the work they did was great. However, one month I went out of town so I had a family member take my dogs in for their monthly appointment. When he went to pick them up he saw one of the workers yelling and being mean to my dog. I never went back. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone either.

They charge thousands for MIXED BREEDS. I have seen many of their dogs in my practice, that are genetic disasters, and keep their owners constantly coming back to the vet hospital for their expensive problems. The ones I have met also LOVE to bite or have horrible issues with anxiety as well. Just another puppy mill. The only difference is they gave the business a facelift with their marketing.
In the end, it is your money and morals I suppose. You could get a well breed, titled pedigree with actual proven temperaments and proven parents, who have real OFA clearances and genetic testing for LESS than what Windermere charges for their backyard bred mutts.
They claim to temperament test puppies, but pups don’t develop their personality or traits until much older, and who is “assessing” the dogs? An actual behaviorist? Nope!
I’m sorry if you ever fell victim to their greed or sleazy marketing tactics.
