Labrador Lodge is wonderful. If you are looking for a Lab puppy, you cannot find a better place. Michelle and Todd are kind, honest, and care deeply for their dogs. We were able to set up a visit to their kennel within a day or two of our initial contact. We got to meet our puppy’s mom and dad and see that they were gentle and happy dogs. The kennel was pristine and well cared for, as was Michelle and Todd’s home and property. These are clearly people who care about the details. Even though we are long-time dog owners, they gave us tons of great advice on how to care for our puppy after we got him home. On the first day after we picked up our puppy, Michelle and Todd contacted us to ask how the first night went and whether we had any questions or concerns, an example of going just a bit beyond expectations in order to make sure we were happy. During the two weeks since we picked up our puppy, we have texted Michelle and Todd several times, asking for advice on various aspects of his care. They have consistently replied promptly, sometimes almost immediately, with well considered and valuable advice. I repeat what I said above: You will not find a better place to get a puppy, nor better people from whom to get him or her.

I have the male black labradoodle from River’s July 2022 litter. First, I am allergic to most things but not this puppy!! I have had many labs throughout my life, but my allergies prefer the doodles! His hair is softer and not as curly as my previous doodle’s.
My boy is 3 months old, right at 20lbs, a bit cautious but confident, and very friendly. He enjoys sniffing the prairie grass near my place and finally saw the family of deer while taking cues from me to be quiet and not scare them. He is obedient and eager to please but also very much a puppy who needs walks and the dog parks!

We picked up our lab puppy 5 days ago from The Lab Lodge and the whole experience was very positive! The owners are extremely friendly and were very responsive to email & texts. The facilities are very nice.
We have had labs and other breeds before and none have had a demeanor quite like this one. He is very calm and attentive.
The potty training has been a breeze! This puppy does his business on demand as soon as we take him out on the grass. He has also mastered “sit” already, and he’s only 7.5 weeks old!
We took him to our own vet today and she said he is perfect! No concerns whatsoever!
He’s just an adorable little “butterball”! We love our puppy!
I would recommend this breeder.
