have never written a review for anyone before in my life, but this is well deserved to truly appreciate the work, the passion, the knowledge, the kindness and for giving my family the perfect companion that we needed. Ashley and Steve are two of the most experienced people when it comes to dogs, I recently had an incident which made me lose faith in breeders, but I gave it one last shot and got a puppy from the golden gals. Ashley and Steve have always given us the right advice and always there to answer the phone anytime we have any questions about anything. If ever I decide to get another pup, it will always be from here. This review is just an overall appreciation for Ashley and Steve.

We adopted Sunny from the Golden Gals a week ago and couldn’t be more pleased. He is an absolute love; golden in every way! Sunny is a beautiful puppy, smart, loving, mellow and eager to please. He already has mastered 5 commands and amazes us with his growth each day! You can see the dedication, knowledge and expert care this breeder demonstrates in the quality and concern for his puppies. Thank you Steve and the Golden Gals for bringing Sunshine into our lives.

We got our sweet boy a little over 3 years ago. He picked up on so many things so quickly like potty training, how to look super cute for treats and of course our favorite, figuring out how to open the baby gates in the kitchen (once he out grew his crate) and he has always been super trust worthy in the house solo. We fully believe if he had thumbs he would take over the world. He is truly the love of our lives and what turned our little house into a family. The only health issues we have run into is he has a dietary allergy which we are still slowly figuring out and he’s been on an elimination diet for about a year now but he’s doing just fine and again the joy of our life. We would absolutely get another pup from the Golden Gals if we could afford it. So if the Golden Gals are reading this and would like to give us a potty trained puppy for free we would gladly take it! 🙂

DO NOT PURCHASE without a full understanding of what you are investing in.

If I could give them no stars, I would. We paid our $500 deposit and had a work emergency/change to our schedules last minute that would not allow us to be great parents for the 8 week old puppy we were interested in originally. Within 11 hours of putting our deposit down, we received word that travel plans were happening with an overseas job. We immediately let this breeder know so they could try to accommodate a new home for the puppy and let them know we could not make this work for us unexpectedly. This establishment was not accommodating to our new situation that was beyond our control with work. He was so focused on keeping the non refundable deposit of $500 as stated in the contract that he lost sight of a home and the real goal of allowing the puppy a new life. I understand it’s a business: but even so, it’s a life, a new puppy that has needs that we unfortunately could not accommodate with this new work news. They were unwilling to refund our money. We truly felt robbed. Life happens, we do the best we can to handle the turns but when someone isn’t willing to do the right thing and basically steals $500, it’s not ok. Reported them to BBB for unethical policies regarding emergency situations and the handling of other peoples finances.

First these people want to double cash-in on families with charging them 500$ on a DOG THAT WASN’T CONCEIVED YET! by not refunding and then charging the next family 500$!!!! and then they can’t deal with a negative review so they call us up to offer hush money (500$ duh!!) to take down an honest yet unhappy review!
YOU CAN’T DOUBLE CASH-IN AND THEN CALL PEOPLE NAMES! Keep your hush money!!! Change your bad business practices and earn better reviews!

On august 14, 2021 golden gals sold me a puppy with severe pneumonia. I mentioned her labored breathing at puppy pickup and Alex told me it was “hiccups” and nerves. Fast forward 6 hours, our puppy Koda had to be put in an oxygen tank and remained there for 4 days. We racked up over $15K in medical bills within the first 4 days of ownership and are still paying off these debts. Alex offered to pick up the puppy once she was already on oxygen. The vet told us she would have died and had a 50/50 chance of surviving the night ON oxygen. Luckily, we saved kodas life but we did not receive a single cent or refund from Golden Gals bc it’s “not in their contract to do so”. What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life turned into the worst. I would love to discuss my experience with anyone.
