I bought my sweet “Rob” from Sunrise Goldens in August 2021. We contacted the email and then were put in contact with Rose. I was extremely weary about going through a breeder. Rose is in charge of all communication/payments. We reserved him a week prior and then made our trip to WI.
I was a little hesitant at first because they wouldn’t provide any photos besides the ones on their website but upon arrival, we realized it was because they’re Amish! The dogs do exist.
Once we arrived, we were greeted by so many golden retrievers running freely around a gated farm. The goldens were well taken care of and Annie and her daughters were so excited to meet us. You can tell Annie takes care of them so well!! The pups come fully vaccinated and given a welcome home kit with food/toys.
I’ve heard stories of people buying from breeders and then it’s a puppy mill – i promise you this isn’t the case. The adult dogs are able to run freely among acres of land while the pups are gated. This place was heaven. Thanks Annie for everything!! We love our sweet Rob so much ♥️ Rob is now almost 4 months old and such a sweetheart!

Our experience was absolutely amazing. We have a beautiful addition to our family and just going to the farm was an experience itself. So many beautiful dogs, well taken care of and friendly as can be. We will definitely get our next dog from them again. We couldn’t be happier!

We bought a puppy from these folks 3 years ago. Until a few weeks ago, he brought us joy every day. Then he got sick with a hereditary form of kidney failure. There is no treatment for this disease, and we lost Buck today. His sire, Ranger, is 9 years old and still being used for breeding. This is not what responsible breeders do. These are nice people, but the dogs are not genetically sound and should be avoided. If you do have a pup of theirs, please DO NOT breed that dog. Thank you.
