I had a wonderful experience with Rocking O! I met the breeders Susan and Roland in February 2018 at their home before putting down a deposit. I got to meet Sophie (mom to be) and experience her wonderful temperament. You can tell they love their girl and take exceptional care of her (her nails were painted). Susan showed the paperwork for both the dam and sire and gave me a copy of their contract as well as answered all our questions. After putting a deposit down, Susan kept us up to date on the expected day of heat and approximately when the puppies would be born. We were able to go back to spend time with the puppies a few times before we took home our Skippy! The whole process was an amazing experience and you can tell how well cared for and loved the puppies were. Susan has also remained in contact with us to check in on how the pup is adjusting to their new homes. I strongly recommend Rocking O if you are looking for a beautiful furever addition to your life!

Sue and Roland at Rocking O Alpacas and Golden Retrievers are wonderful! We got our 1st Golden from them in late summer of 2018. The whole process was more than enjoyable, as we really felt part of the mother’s (Sophie’s) pregnancy with frequent updates. After that litter of pups was born, they were very communicative to all of the families who were slated to be the future homes for those pups. Once the pups had received their immunizations, we were able to visit them—wonderful! Sue and Roland were more than welcoming, and we really felt like part of their extended “dog family”—you can immediately sense the love of their own animals, and that trickled down to the adorable litter that their dog, Sophie, had delivered. They are very open to questions, and are transparent with information about health, care, etc. We are excited to hopefully get another Golden from them whenever the next litter arrives! Our whole family recommends Rocking O… such kind and caring breeders!
