I was so impressed by the professionalism, expertise, and love and care the breeders have for their Goldens. I adopted beautiful Harli. I am so grateful for how she was raised by Teresa and her husband. Harli is just lovely and a wonderful companion.

We couldn’t be happier with our pup. We were looking for a house/companion dog rather than hunting/field trial dog. Theresa did a great job of helping us pick out the right puppy based on their demeanors and personalities at 6-8 weeks old.
Maya is 7 months old now and she’s been such a treat to have in our household. She’s great with our small dog, full of personality, very intelligent, and incredibly affectionate.
We’re thrilled we went with Theresa and Platte River Retrievers. I would 100% recommend them if you’re considering a Golden. A+ rating from us.

We were so happy picking our puppy out from Platte River Retreivers! We drove from Colorado to Nebraska to pick our puppy out of a large litter of pups! They all were just adorable and each one had their own cute personalities. But we decided on the bigger pup in the group and named him Kobe. He is the absolute cutest boy pup ever and just gorgeous!! 3 days at home and he is already crate trained and potty trained and incredibly smart. The breeder Teresa is so knowledgeable and nurturing to the puppies and took such good care of them. She was a nurse in her career and delivered babies for many years so she really knows her stuff. We were very impressed with her knowledge of puppies and the dogs she breeds. We got a tour of the dogs she breeds and got to meet the puppy parents and they all were so well cared for and happy. Thank you Teresa, you made adopting a new boy pup such a great experience!
