We got our sweet Emma from Mohon’s AKC Golden Retrievers in August 2018 and could not be happier with our experience. From the very first meeting, we knew how much they cared for their dogs, and wanted to do all they could to make sure we felt comfortable adopting from them. I had contacted them to see if we could come visit the dogs and their environment, and they were so happy to oblige. All of their dogs are gorgeous…though I do have a soft spot for Ryder (big sweetheart) and Cam, the mother of our girl. Everything went very smoothly through the entire experience from first meeting, puppy picks to the day we got to bring her home. Though the little con artist initially had us thinking she was laid back. Definitely not the case, but we wouldn’t have her any other way. They are happy to answer any questions after you take them home. And the grounds are beautiful. They have a doggy resort for the dogs, and special areas for the mom’s to have and nurse the pups that are heated and air conditioned. And a large, well kept, gorgeous fenced in area for them to run and play. Their dogs truly are their family! I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone looking for a Golden or Doodle!

We love our dog from this breeder, but he has had multiple serious life threatening issues, a rare puppy autoimmune disorder, exploratory neck surgery, stomach surgery, joint/muscular degenerative dystrophy issues, continued rehab/acupuncture and it has to stem back to the breeding or health of dogs bred. The dog is only 4 years old and has basically been a rescue. The owners are very defensive and the few times I’ve reached out they always have an immediate comeback.
