Marshwood Goldens is a small breeder breeding
wonderful golden retrievers in central Minnesota.
I have one of their females, who is the prefect
companion.
I take her with me everywhere, and people smile
when they see her coming. She is the calmest dog
that I have ever known. Strangers stop us on the street,
to either tell me what a beautiful dog she is, or else to
comment on how calm she is. Everyone wants to pet
her.
She has been the star of her obedience classes, where
again, the instructor and other students have repeatedly
commented on her calmness. She is the dog that the
instructor uses to show the others how something
should be done.
She is a very intelligent dog and has been very easy to
train. She currently knows about 150 commands, words,
and phrases, likes to learn new things, and wants to
please me.
She is also an athletic dog. She loves to chase tennis
balls, swim and retrieve them from the water, dive off
the dock, go for walks, ride in my kayak, and go camping.
She loves being outdoors, and is always up for going on
an adventure. She travels well in the car. She rarely barks,
but is fearless, and has a high prey drive.
She loves attention over everything else, and usually just
wants to be near me. She follows me around and never
tires of being petted; she is a happy dog and it shows.
I am very happy with my dog. She has brought me a lot
of joy, and I recommend Marshwood Goldens. They have
high standards and breed excellent, healthy puppies,
representative of the breed. They have also been very
responsive in responding to my emailed questions,
and offered many helpful suggestions.
