I got my yorkie a year ago from Maplewood Kennel, and he is the absolute most amazing dog I’ve ever met. Super healthy and smart, playful and sweet. Loves everyone (I hear is not a typical yorkie trait). Super silky shiny coat. Hard for me to imagine life without him now. I love him like a child.

Just brought our puppy Zoe home Monday Aug7th.. Just had her/our Vet appointment. She’s in PERFECT HEALTH. I bought a perfect puppy.. All we do is play —laugh & we’re teaching her new things everyday.. Rhonda was so kind & caring to us while our puppy was reaching her 8 weeks.. PRIOR TO PICKING HER UP… We lost our Yorkie Emma 4 months ago.. So she also calmed me down with all my crying & grief from losing our best friend.. I’ve owned several YORKIES.. Zoe is HEALTHY —SMART— GREAT PERSONALITY— DID I MENTION “” SHE’S BEAUTIFUL “ Easy to train.. she’s already setting & posing for photos!! Something Rhonda taught her ☺️ . We’re BLESSED OUR FAMILY FOUND Rhonda & Maplewood Kennels.. WE TRAVELED from Pittsburgh Pa area… To adopt our new family member.. Zoe ..

We got a Yorkshire terrier in December from this breeder and MissDashwood is now 6 months old and is a joy. We had an older Yorkie that was here when she came and she adjusted very well. Now she is house broke and spayed. The neighbors have a Pit and they are best friends.

I was told late on a Friday afternoon/evening that there were 4 puppies available and when I arrived at lunch time Saturday there was one rather sickly puppy being carried around by a little girl in a staged family room. The parent dogs were not visible (outdoor kennels were out back behind the house, and the puppy was recently washed and blow-dried for presentation. The puppy was not very active and maybe even a little lethargic, and she remained so for about a day after I got her home. The puppy was tiny for age (probably the runt) and I was told that she sold the other 3 puppies overnight. I actually found that hard to believe, but I relented. She did spend a great deal of time with us while I tried to get to know the puppy and after awhile she sensed my apprehension and actually began pressuring me “do you want the pup or not”. I did buy the puppy (cash) and took her home. Upon our 1st vet visit the puppy was underweight and found to have a pretty bad infection and a systemic parasite (not just the usual worms but those were severe, too), and had to be put on antibiotics and antiparasitics, even though I was assured that the puppy was healthy and vet checked at the time of purchase. The puppy continues to have health problems, including juvenile cataracts which are HEREDITARY. I did decide to purchase the puppy for sentimental reasons more than logical reasons. I would never have considered returning the puppy for any reason, and the “health guarantee” that is given really has no value. Please do your homework before you buy a puppy from these people.
