Bought my dog here before he was born didn’t know what I was getting into other then the research I did online. My dog Duke is. Great hunting dog and a even better companion!
He’s a pointer Icber was his trainer and he did a great job with communicating with me and teaching me what to do when I picked Duke up at 10 months. Thanks IowaPointinglabs

Kirby is 11 months old now out of the Martin x Phoebe litter. He has been fantastic and has been pointing birds since he was about 5 months old or so. Recently he has started picking up speed in the field and it’s a lot of fun to watch him go from a full sprint to slamming on point. This is my first bird dog and am doing all the training myself and he’s been very easy to work with. Thanks again IPL!

My fox red lab, Ruby, was trained for birds at Iowa Pointing Labs. In her first season, we put about 100 birds over her and she blew away my expectations. She was trained incredibly well by Icber and always works closely with me. We had a handful of perfect points, more than I could have expected from a puppy under a year old. The staff are friendly and responsive—while Ruby was there for six weeks, we were able to coordinate a visit and check on her progress. Great people!

Stop taking down your reviews if it isn’t 5 starts! Tim has turned this into a puppy mill. Had no trainers for a few months now has 1. And a vet tech that is really nice but has no training. Went to check in on a pup being trained there he was covered in feces and no longer knew his own name. In fact the trainer and vet tech didn’t know the pups name either. There excuse, “we have over 100 puppies on the ground and I don’t know how many we are supposed to be training! We can’t take care of them all.” Orvis no longer has IPL listed on their site! Instead of bad mouthing all the other trainers and breeders out there Tim, you should do what’s right for the dogs and the breed and stop breeding! You should be ashamed of yourself sir. Broke my heart seeing the conditions these dogs were living in.

The owner keeps taking down the reviews if it isn’t 5 stars! Terrible services. Bad conditions and they only care about the money!
