Hidden View Farms/HVF Country Cattery (Lancaster, Ohio)

Hidden View Farms is run by the sweetest family. My husband and I got our little cockapoo from here in September and we absolutely adore him! When we called, they made setting up a time to see pups an absolute breeze and they made sure all of the paper work was done quickly and without hassle. Our little guy is happy and healthy and we would definitely love to get another cockapoo from Hidden View Farms one day!

My husband, 4 year old son, and I visited on Saturday. It was a beautiful space with the most amazing view!! The owners were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. They very generously showed us around the entire space and allowed us to view the other cats and dogs that were not for purchase. We were there to meet a bengal kitten. We played in the cat room for over an hour and never once did we feel rushed or like we were a nuisance. We did end up purchasing the kitten, and the payment process was easy and relaxed. I followed up with the owner by email on Monday and she was quick to reply. I would highly recommend this location!!!

This place is great. I bought an adorable Ragamese kitten there and she is amazing. The place was nice and clean and the animals seemed happy and healthy. I took my new kitty to my vet and even my vet said these breeders knew what they were doing and I found a legit good breeder . She was very pleased with paperwork and everything they did to make sure my kitty was healthy. I highly recommend if you are searching for a puppy or kitty give this place a try. Thumbs up…

Claim to test dogs however lost one to a liver shunt and the second Carrie’s PRA! Claim to be a great breeder this is backyard mill breeding at its finest. Shame on you! Don’t believe me me look them up online. They are high volume!!

I don’t think puppies from here are treated well. I’ll tell you all about the whole trip so you’ll get an idea. My wife and I made an appointment to see this puppy few days before, we live an hour away. So in the morning on that day I texted to let them know we were heading there. The lady texted me back to let them know 15 minutes before we’re arrive (this is the key of the story). We’re let her know but my lunch order was taking too long, we got there 10 minutes late. When we got there, the puppy was so excited and playful, you can she her in the first picture, my wife couldn’t resist, so we decided to get her right away. When we just got into the car, the puppy started to throw up and had lethargic sign. The lady said that puppy was just having stress. We believed her and drove home. For the whole driving, the puppy threw up few times and it was just brownish liquid, she even peed while sleeping. You all can see in the second picture, she was just sleeping on the pad and peed on herself. She couldn’t wake up to eat. Then she had a mild seizure. We took her to emergency immediately. Costed us almost $2000, just as much the puppy cost. Turned out the puppy was let starving, and the seller just give her some sort of syrup to hype the puppy up before get got there. I think this is the only I left bad review too. Because I don’t want to see anyone have to go through this like us. FYI, the puppy is fine now.

Puppy mill. I went back to this place after getting a a puppy with my mom 16 years ago here. Long story short my mom passed and I was left her dog and it had passed. She got the dog here many years ago. I firmly believe, Since her son Took over this place it has become a puppy mill. My vet redone all vaccines, because my pup wasn’t taken to a vet like paperwork stated, and my vet wasn’t sure of the quality of my puppies vaccinations. My puppy was also full of parasites and very sick. She’s a miniature golden doodle. $3000 so far to keep my puppy alive. Several vet visits, missed work. My puppy has never been socialized, per my vet. Sad that these dogs are treated this way. All for profit sad I my bought pup from them thinking these people had quality like many years ago but obviously times change. They emailed back and literally said we’re so glad you pup has you to take care of her and that you two came together for a reason. Just sad I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this. It’s been devastating.
