Could not recommend Sarah & Golden Mountain Farm enough! I called her last minute and was so sad because we had a Golden Mountain dog from another breeder that had come down with parvo. She said she had a puppy available and 72 hours later I was meeting Sarah at the Denver airport with our precious new pup. She was able to accommodate us pretty last minute and meet me at the airport even though it was her sons first day of school! We could not love our dog more, the combination of these two breeds are pretty ideal if you are looking for a friendly companion. We are feel so blessed to have found our dog and Golden Mountain Farms!

Had a great experience with Golden Mountain Farm. Sarah was great at communicating and sent me a ton of photos of our puppy. We picked up Piper, a Bernese Mountain dog, and fell in love! She’s sweet and fits right in with the family. She sent us home with all the paperwork we would need and Piper’s bedding and some toys. It was an over all great experience! We love our girl!

We love Golden Mountain Farm! We got our little Berner baby in September (born in July) and love him so much! The process was so easy and great. Sarah is wonderful with communication. We knew when the mama was pregnant, when the puppies were born. We got pictures of the puppies every week and truly got a sense of their personalities before we even met the puppies.
I would highly highly recommend Golden Mountain Farm.

Wanted to share our unfortunate experience with Sarah and Golden Mountain Farm just as a warning to anyone like us who is really eager for a pup and not carefully considering the rigid policies/procedures of this breeder.
We were very excited to learn that we would be first on the list for the next litter of GMDs to be born only two months from when we contacted Golden Mountain Farm. Sent everything over quickly and eagerly and were told that once the puppies were born we’d be able to choose first (we really wanted a tricolor male or female). When the time drew closer that the puppies would be born Sarah sent out a group text to those of us waiting for puppies and in a strange turn of events there was only one puppy born. Initially she said it was a false pregnancy, but by the end of the day one puppy was born. She had clearly taken the deposits of several families who were eagerly awaiting the news. It is strange to me that there was no ultrasound or anything done prior, but ultimately out of everyone’s control that only one pup was born to the mama. With the expectation that we would have choices when the litter was born and the single puppy did not match what we were looking for, we requested to get our deposit back or to be bumped to the next litter of puppies to have first pick then. Both of those options seemed very reasonable given the unusual circumstances. Rather than act in good faith and work with us, Sarah told us that we either had to take this dog or forfeit our $500 deposit without any attempt to compromise or accommodate us. At this point we felt concerned about her business practices that we would be so cornered into taking the puppy when there appeared to be so much demand so we decided to pass. Such a disappointing experience and I feel bad for all of the families who were involved and are now stuck waiting for the next litter. I would just strongly caution you to carefully consider this possibility for yourself with the understanding that Sarah will not work with you in any unplanned circumstance.
