When searching for a breader, Belquest & Ms. Vicky’s dogs are like none other. Ms. Vicky is highly accredited and is a top producer of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We are on our third Belquest puppy over the last 20 years. Bella is teaching Blueberry the ropes. We met our new pup at the kennel dirnuring the pandemic and the staff and protocols made us very comfortable.

I cannot express how unhappy my family is with Belquest. Prior to February 2022, we had been repeat customers for our Havanese puppy for grooming and boarding. However, our puppy was shaved and shaved badly while at Belquest for grooming in February. She had nicks and cuts all over her body. We reached out repeatedly and were told repeatedly that we would hear back from the owner, but we never did. I tried one last time in December 2022 before the holidays and got a voicemail stating our puppy had been matted. We do not believe our puppy was badly matted, but even if she was, she should not have been nicked or cut. Belquest did not refund our grooming fees or apologize. We do not recommend.

I would not recommend grooming your pet at this establishment. All of my pets were injured in some way and services promised were not rendered. Injuries including two broken dew claws, razor burn, tenderness under the arms, and tenderness around the neck.. Additionally, the ears were not cleaned, some nails were completely missed and the anal glands were not touched. Hence the services not rendered. Currently, you cannot touch one of my dogs without the dog yelping. Please note, the dogs mentioned are under the age of 3. I have never had an issue concerning their health or when taking to a groomer.
When I approached the “owner’s”, they admittedly stated that it did NOT happen at their establishment. Funny… Speaking to the owner’s, I can see why there are so many bad reviews on line as well as with the local Chamber of Commerce. I have reported the actions to the BBB and I fully intend to prosecute the facility and if I can, the groomers. If you love your dog, I would not recommend taking them to this facility.

We had been taking our dogs to be groomed here for almost 40 years and before we always a good experience with them but ever since they hired a male groomer named Charles we have not been very happy with their service. He does not treat our dog well and we were not satisfied with his grooming. Because of the way Charles treated our dog we felt we had discontinue our grooming services with Belquest Kennels. It really is a shame that one groomer had to end 40 years of care with this groomer.
