The breeder is an incredibly devoted and loving woman who cares deeply for her dogs, puppies, and the families they’re going to. The dedication and knowledge of the BellyLaff staff is second to none. This breeder is hands down the most knowledgeable and thorough professional I have contacted in my search for a new Labrador puppy. Despite the obviously personal negative reviews I have chosen to place my reservation deposit with this breeder after researching 26 others over the past few months. I will have to wait until early November to get my puppy if all goes well and I have been made aware of the policy if something should not work out for the litter I’ve placed my deposit on. Just for that fact alone that I have been given a back up plan prior to sending any money gives me great confidence in the professionalism of this program. I’m thrilled to become part of their community.

Do NOT buy, I was supposed to get a dog from her at a discount for half price if I remember collectly and I never received the dog. After learning about her business and how she raises the dog’s I concluded it would be unsafe to get a dog from her for the purpose I was buying the dog (i need to insure all hips and health would pass for the work he was going to do). I later found out that she is in bankruptcy and the dogs live out of a small converted shred. I got threats from her when i asked about a refund. I had paid 1750 and requested a refund and never heard from her again. I had to filled a dispute with my bank to get the money back and with the police. I was able to find another breeder top of the line and cheaper then her dogs that is excelling past his age.

Do not do business with this woman and this company. She took a deposit from us on a puppy and guaranteed that the litter would produce a yellow lab. The litter did not produce and we requested a refund. She said it would be 30 days per her policy. It’s been 35 days now and she will not respond to calls or texts. She initially gave us a sob story about her animals were having unexpected health issues and causing additional expenses….not my problem. You cannot take customers money and not provide what was paid for. Very unprofessional and dishonest business. Do not purchase an animal from this woman. She does not keep her word. After reading reviews apparently she had ripped more people off as well.

I STRONGLY recommend that you do NOT give your money to this breeder. I typically do not write negative reviews, but after my experience with BellyLaff Labradors, I feel compelled.
Communication is horrible. I would text, write emails, send messages on Facebook and would not get a response for weeks – and this was, of course, after they had my money. She claims her internet or phone is always out, and even admitted she keeps track of who has reserved which dog from whatever litter on post it notes. I placed my deposit on two litters, and even though I was told I was first in line for the color and gender I wanted, she gave one away to someone else.
And now she claims she has no money left. She spends your deposit before she even breeds the dogs! When I told her I wanted a refund and that I didn’t feel like we were a good match anymore, she immediately responded (shocker!) and offered me a dog that I’m sure had been promised to someone else. No thank you. Now, she won’t respond to any of my requests for a refund even though the deposit specifically stated it was for two litters, neither of which panned out.
STAY AWAY from Bellylaff. Their business practices are shady and laughable.
