I find it ironic that at the time I write this review, the only positive review above 1 star is from the owner Jenne Andrews herself.
You can see in the photo of our text exchange we still believed we would be picking up a puppy from her even though did not contact us when she said she would. That same day, she posted on her blog all the puppies were on their way to new homes. We are still waiting for our refund which she claims she already refunded after deciding she would not sell us a puppy. When I sent proof that she hasn’t issued our refund, she said she will fix it when she has a minute. Days later, the only thing I have received from her is a text message full of vulgarities after requesting our refund a again. She previously referred to my wife as crazy for asking which day off she should take to pick up the puppy. She called me much worse.
I have to wonder if this is some kind of scam where she accepts deposits and doesn’t refund them when she doesn’t deliver. Two reviewers with that same problem seems beyond coincidence. Fortunately, we have all of our communication with her over the past few weeks in writing, either text or email, since she refused to take a phone call from us. We are already working with another breeder and the experience has been amazing in comparison. Anyone can post anything on their website. It is situations like this when you experience a breach of agreement and failure to refund a deposit where you realize the important roles agencies like the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection Agency and State dept. of Agriculture play in protecting the public.

The breeder is not at all professional. Especially considering she is a retired literary professor. After asking questions about potential puppy health she decided she wasn’t going to sell to us. Said she would refund our deposit. It has been a week and no refund as of yet. Upon further investigation… there are no reviews positive or negative online. She does not appear to be a member of the MileHigh Golden Retriever club as her webpage claims.
