Me and my fiancé fell in love with a red Boston terrier from here on the 4th of July 2023 he’s such a love thank you all pets club for the advice and having everything we needed for his home at a reasonable price. We will love him endlessly !❤️
Sincerely want to thank everyone who was part of Ghosts Journey to me. From the moment I saw him I knew I had to bring him home! I placed a first pick on him and couldn’t see him right away but the people I spoke with were very kind enough to let my first visit also be the day I bring him home which was just in time after his medications and vaccines. I liked all the information he came with, very helpful! We placed our first vet visit today! So exciting. He has adjusted fairly quickly, he’s eating and drinking fine. He has been playing with his new toys, he is always ready to play. He has good sleeping habits, only woke me up one time in the night to play! I’m super happy and will update as he grows older. I was nervous he would be sad because he had many others to play with but he loves being around me. It was hard getting good photos he’s very active ! Lol
So I brought my kids to check out this pet store because we hadn’t before. I was thinking of purchasing an iguana. I go to the enclosure and this is what I found. There’s three employees just sitting in the front of store hanging out. If I had questions they were friendly and polite. And the most shocking part of it all no one was even in the process of cleaning any enclosures and clearly by the pictures they hadn’t been cleaned for months. There was literally mold and I’m sure all types of bacteria where the iguana are suppose to eat. After I left there I went to the Branford location and there’s 100% difference In the way the enclosures were kept. There was a woman even working on the cleaning the snakes tanks at the time. Very sad day!
The staff is ok. They just need to be on the same page when it comes to store returns. Was told I would get my cash back from an associate. My roommate returns the animal day. They gave store credit. Not happy with this place. The Branford and Wallingford are better. So southington gets to keep my money that’s not right.
TW:Cancer -please don’t support this business, i got the sweetest most adorable chaweenie boy puppy two years ago, two months in he started showing behavioral problems which we blamed on the introduction to our other dog, come to find out he had genetic cancer metastasized all over his abdomen he only lived two years and in pain, it was purely due to bad breeding, no dog should go through that i am heartbroken
